A five-minute drive will take you to the trailhead of "White Oak Canyon Falls" or 10 minutes to "Old Rag Mountain". These are 2 of Virginia's most acclaimed hiking trails, complete with waterfalls and rock scrambling. It is also only 15 minutes from the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway for lovely drives or numerous other hiking trails.

The cabin is fully furnished with linens, dishes, microwave, fireplace, etc. A shaded deck overlooks the pond.
